Practice Areas

Ms. Long has practiced law since 1988. She brings with her a wide range of expertise in the area of government operations and litigation defense. As a former Assistant Attorney General, Ms. Long represented state public safety agencies including judges, prosecutors, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Corrections. Having also worked in-house with the DOC and Georgia State Patrol, Ms. Long is familiar with both government related labor management and contract issues. She is an experienced constitutional lawyer and her government agency representation focused heavily on civil rights, employment, and tort defense. Having also worked eight years with the Office of Legislative Counsel for the Georgia General Assembly, Ms. Long has a strong background in state government practices. More recently, Ms. Long has provided direct legal counsel for Georgia local governments and insurance defense for various tort and federal claims.
